Shirley Rose Morse

Shirley Morse, age 78 of Princeton died Monday, May 16, 2022 at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  She was born the daughter of the late Walter Gray and the late Gertrude McDaniels Gray.  She was a wife and mother of seven children.  She was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Princeton, she loved her children and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.  In between caring for her children, she was known to slip off and get caught up on Days of Our Lives.  She loved flowers, and spending holidays with the ones she loved the most; her family. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton with Greg Rushing officiating.  Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.  Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of the arrangements.

Shirley is survived by her husband: Owen Morse of Princeton; her sons: James Morse of Cadiz, Owen Morse, Jr. (Scarlett) of Princeton, and Larry Morse (Courtney) of Princeton; her daughters: Bonita Moore of Princeton, Judy Casper (David) of Michigan, Betty Flowers (Jeff) of Princeton, and Louise Goodaker (Joe) of Princeton; brothers: Roger Gray of Tennessee, and Don Gray of Princeton; her sisters: Brenda Engler (Mark) of Princeton, and Kay Boyd of Illinois; her grandchildren: Tiffany O’Dell, David Allen Casper, Bradley Casper, Jessica Flowers, Clifton Flowers, Danielle Flowers, Sarah Goodaker, Lesley Goodaker, Elizabeth Morse, Cody Morse, Colton Morse, Jake Morse, and Maddie Watson; and her thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Eugene Gray, Charles Gray, Dale Gray, and Gayle Gray; her sister: Marie Traylor; and her grandsosn: Michael Moore.
