Shane D Ellison

Shane Douglas Ellison, age 44 died Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born the son of the late Douglas Ellison and Vicky Goodman Myer (Harold) of Morristown.  He was a 1998 graduate of Morristown High School, and a member of the Morristown Christian Church in Morristown, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024, at Morristown Christian Church located at 209 S. Washington St., Morristown, Indiana.  Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, Indiana.   Visitation will be Monday, April 15, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.  Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.   Goodman Funeral Home is being assisted locally by Hinsey - Brown Funeral Home of Knightstown.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters: Sherry Ellison (Jay Shelton) of Morristown, and Mindy Ellison of Romulus, Michigan; stepbrothers: Mark Myer (Becky) of Morristown, and Paul Myer (Kay) of New Whiteland; nephews: Justice Warner of Morristown; Dylan Emory of Connersville, Tanner Emory of Connersville, Brady Ellison of Morristown; niece: Emma Scott (Hunter Bennett) of Shelbyville; and great-nephew: Legacy Bennett of Shelbyville.  

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Tami Ellison and Shawn Ellison.
