Royce Eugene Stewart

Royce Eugene Stewart, age 72 of Princeton died Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at his residence.  He was born the son of the late Carl E. Stewart, and the late Lillian Atwood Stewart.  Royce was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Creswell Baptist Church. He was a mason and a member of Clinton Lodge of Princeton. In his spare time, he loved to fish, horseback ride, hunt and most of all spend time with his family.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Goodman Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Franklin will be officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. A private family burial will be held at a later date. 

He is survived by his son: Houston Stewart of Princeton; his daughters: Rachael Vickrey (Bo) of Princeton, Lacy Mcgahan (Tim) of Alaska, and Carly Stewart (Jacob Ray) of Nashville, Tennessee; his brothers: Brent Stewart of Princeton, Bruce Stewart of Princeton, Ralph Stewart of Princeton, Leslie Stewart of Oklahoma, and John Ross "Buster" Stewart of Cadiz; his sisters: Marlene Villifranca of Texas, Winnie  Fuller of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sherry Yeldell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Bryar Young, Lillian Vickrey, Elizabeth Vickrey, and Ruth Ray.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Carroll Stewart, and Jerry Stewart; and his sister: Patricia Ladd.
