Lorraine P. Plotzke

Lorraine P. Plotzke, born on March 18, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, departed from this world on July 27, 2025, in the comfort of her home. She lived a vibrant and adventurous life, touching the hearts of those she met along the way. A cherished member of her family, Lorraine was the beloved spouse of James Plotzke and a proud mother to her son, Ronald Jovanovic.

During her career, Lorraine made significant contributions to the Kerr Bottling Company in Plainfield, Illinois, where she created lasting friendships and memories. After retiring, she embraced new adventures, relocating from Chicago to Florida in the 1990s, and later to Kentucky over a decade ago, each move enriching her life with new experiences.

Lorraine's love for travel was a defining aspect of her life. She found immense joy in exploring the world, with her favorite modes of transportation being cruise ships and airplanes. The thrill of cruising across vast oceans and soaring through the skies filled her heart with exhilaration. Alongside her passion for travel, Lorraine found pleasure in golfing and bowling, often gathered with friends and family, sharing laughter and camaraderie. The beach was another beloved retreat, where she delighted in the sun, sand, and surf.

Her nurturing spirit and zest for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Lorraine leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and adventure, forever etched in the memories of her family and friends. Her life may have come to a close, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched.
