Kenneth E. Howe, age 77, of Burton, MI, passed away November 17, 2024. Kenneth was born March 28,1947, in Coon Island, Missouri, the son of Emzley and Anna (Thompson) Howe.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He married Karen Pennala on September 16, 1983. Kenneth retired from AC Spark Plug where he worked as an oil pump operator. He never met a stranger, quickly starting up a conversation with anyone he met. He enjoyed Volunteers of America. He loved going to garage sales, flea markets and he enjoyed thrift store shopping. Always after a deal.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen; two daughters, Lisa Howe, and Susan (Ted) Justice; grandchildren, Bryan Howe, Jonathan Howe, Marisa Howe, Timothy Cooper, Matthew (Taylor) Cooper; great-grandchildren, Kristopher, Aydin, Ellison, Ira, Royce, Cora, Quinn; brother, Dale Howe; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Katie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Dennis, Billy Jeff, Clyde, Marion "Punk", and Jaris "Don".
Graveside services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Marion KY on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11:00 am.
