John Franklin Daniel II

Daniel, John Franklin II, 72. Husband of Nancye Daniel died Saturday, July 6, 2024, in his home at Lake Barkley. 

Born in Lexington, KY he was the son of Jim and Reaka Daniel. He was a retired aviation, automotive, marine technician and served in the US Army Reserves. He spent his life pursuing his passion of traveling, flying, and sailing. 

In addition to his wife Nancye, he is survived by his son John Franklin Daniel III of Yulee, FL; his sister Mililani (Jens) Basberg of Shelbyville, KY, his brother James Meredith (Marcia) Daniel Jr. of Eddyville, KY. 

Graveside service will be 11am, Saturday, July 13 at Lexington Cemetery.
