Evelyn Maxie

Evelyn Denise Maxie, 62, of Princeton died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY.

Mrs. Maxie was born the daughter of the late Elijah Rollins and Mattie Rollins, and her late birth mother Barbara Jennings.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Maxie of Princeton; her son, Larry Maxie, Jr. of Princeton; her daughter, Danielle Watkins (Jeffery) of Princeton; her brothers:  Elijah Rollins of Indianapolis, IN, Darrell Rollins of Owensboro, KY, and Kris Rollins of Henderson, KY; her sisters:  Deborah Carter of St. Louis, MO, and Tracey Floyd (Mel) of Henderson, KY; her grandchildren: Demetrius Cain, Nathshae Hopper, Michael Rollins and Zyquarius Rollins; and her great grandchildren: Cayze Cain and Cyrus Cain; and her lifelong friend and sister in heart: Christa Frazier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Ted Bea and James Williams; her sister: Joselyn Copeland

Evelyn’s greatest joy was being a grandmother.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Goodman Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
