Eugene Ellis "Papaw" Meadows

Eugene Ellis “Papaw” Meadows passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on January 30, 1958, in Kennett, Missouri.

Eugene is survived by Teresa Meadows; his son, Jacob Meadows (Lindsay) of Princeton; his daughters, Jessica Falder (Scott) of Princeton, Kelsey McClure (Josh) of Princeton, and Morgan Richardson (Jamie Lee) of Princeton; and his brother, Stan Meadows of New Orleans, Louisiana.

He was a beloved Papaw to his grandchildren, Cale, Kiya, Dash, Nya, Emmett, Acelyn, Paislee, Kynlee, Ava, Ziva, and Vera. He especially enjoyed spending time at the ball fields, watching and supporting his grandchildren as they played. He also enjoyed helping his grandsons, Cale and Dash with their cotton candy trailer, “Cale’s Sweet Treats.” These special moments were more than just pastimes—they were opportunities for Papaw to be present, involved, and create memories with the grandchildren he loved so dearly.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Marlene Meadows, and his sisters, Debby Diamond and Sara Wade.

His life will continue to be remembered through his children, grandchildren, and all those who loved him. The name “Papaw” will forever carry with it the love of the family and friends who will miss him dearly.
