Dion Wayne Hale, born on May 30, 1968, in Princeton, KY, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026, at Caldwell Medical Center. His journey through life was marked by a deep devotion to his family and a passion for the great outdoors.
Dion’s life was enriched by his role as a loving father to his sons, Aaron Hale (James) of Princeton, KY; Todd Hale (Jennifer) of Kuttawa, KY; and Josh Hale (Jennifer) of West Virginia. He was a cherished grandfather to Rylan, Addyson, Brooklyn, Grayson, and Remington Hale, whose lives were brightened by his presence and guidance. Family remained at the heart of all that Dion pursued, and his dedication to those he loved was unwavering.
He is also survived by his brothers, Eugene Hale of Princeton, KY, and Robert Hale (Marie) of Princeton, KY; and his sisters, Janice Bealmear of Princeton, KY, and Cindy (Leon) Ringstaff of Calvert City, KY. Their shared memories and enduring bonds are a testament to the close-knit and supportive family in which Dion thrived.
Beyond his devotion to family, Dion found solace and joy in nature. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors. These passions allowed him to appreciate life's simple pleasures, and he often found happiness in sharing these moments with his family and loved ones. Dion’s legacy will continue through the traditions and stories he created, especially those made while exploring the outdoors with his grandchildren.
A faithful member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church, Dion’s spiritual life was a source of comfort and guidance. His commitment to his faith and his community was evident in his actions and in the kindness he showed to others.
Dion Wayne Hale’s life was characterized by his love for family, appreciation for nature, and deep faith. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. The community he helped strengthen and the values he upheld will be remembered fondly.
