Danny Allan Sharp, 45, of Princeton, was born on April 25, 1980, in Independence, Louisiana, and passed away on August 29, 2025, at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. He was a devoted father, brother, son, and partner, who lived life to the fullest, with a deep love for music, family, and adventure.
Danny had a remarkable career, recognized for his expertise in setting up operating equipment for Frontier Kemper. Though he may not have spoken extensively about his skills at Frontier Kemper, it was known that few could step in to do what he did. His job allowed him to travel, and he embraced every moment of it, relishing the opportunities it provided.
An avid musician, Danny had a profound passion for playing his guitar and enjoyed the sounds of blues and southern rock music. He also loved riding his Harley motorcycle, which symbolized his adventurous spirit. In his earlier years, he found joy in bowling and fishing, activities that contributed to his vibrant personality and zest for life.
Danny was incredibly proud of his children, who were a significant part of his life. He often expressed deep love for them, standing as a testament to the strong family values he held dear. Those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Ruby White of Princeton; mother, Marla Goodwin of Princeton; his son, Andrew Sharp of Princeton; and his daughters, Brooklyn Sharp and Chelsea Sharp, both residing in Marion. His brother, Jason Sharp, of Princeton, and sister, Misty Sharp Wagers, of Colorado, also carry forward his legacy. Danny's significant other, Amanda Cain, along with several nieces and nephews, will forever hold dear the moments they shared with him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marlin White and father, Ronnie Sharp, whose memories remain a guiding light for his family.
Danny's legacy extends beyond his professional achievements and hobbies; he was a donor through the Indiana Donor Network, having made the generous decision to donate his liver, reflecting a compassionate spirit that defined him. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation to honor Danny’s life will be held on September 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM with Dustin Glass officiating, both at Goodman Funeral Home located at 1032 West Main St, Princeton, KY 42445. Burial to follow at Princeton Memorial Gardens.
