Ross York

Ross Kelley York, 80, of Eddyville, KY, formerly of Evansville, IN, died on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at Rivers Bend Retirement Community. He was a retired Funeral Director and Embalmer for 55 years, a member of Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton, a Charter Member of Evansville United Christian Fellowship; and a graduate of Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1961.

Survivors include one son, Michael York and wife, Andrea, Eddyville, KY; two granddaughters, Courtney Barrett and husband, Brantley; Megan Blackburn and husband, Kell; and three great-grandchildren, Jax Barrett; Jentry Barrett; Wyatt Kelley Blackburn.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Collins York; father, Leslie York; mother, Opal Hetzel York; and two sisters, Betty York and Joan Gooch.

Private funeral services will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Christ Tabernacle Church Building Fund 1839 US HWY 62W Princeton, KY 42445.

Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton, KY are in charge of the arrangements.

Really enjoyed Ross humor. He loved to laugh and he truly enjoyed people. I will miss stealing hugs from him and seeing his sweet smile. Hes smiling now and dancing the streets of heaven!
