Clyde was a true "one of a kind" sort of person. He was as genuine as the day is long, and the twinkle in his eye was always present and ready for mischief. He loved a good laugh, but was always kind to everyone. He had a soul that was tender and loving toward others, especially anyone who was in need. He would always try to help anyone to the best of his abilities, and never expected anything in return. Clyde never was one to "put on airs".. what you saw, was what you got. It is very easy for me to say that if there were more people like Clyde in this world, that this world would be a much better place. I count myself blessed to have been able to have known him and loved him as family (although we weren't of any blood relation) he, and his siblings are like my family. I love you all, and I am so sorry. My heart breaks for all of you. Try to remember the good times...Clyde sure tried to make many of those for all of us.

I met Clyde in 1972. Later, I met my first husband through Clyde. We as couples had double dates and did lots of things throughout that time! Clyde was always a great friend and always making me smile. Even though, we did not see each other as often; we were back on track when we saw each other. I love and will miss Clyde
